Japan, Oct 14 (ZoomF1.com) - Michael Schumacher capped 2001 season with a victory at Suzuka on Sunday for the final round of the Formula One World Championships. The German took pole position on Sunday and dominated most part of the race to take to the checkered flag in first place.

Japan, Oct 13 (ZoomF1.com) - Michael Schumacher took his 11th pole position of 2001, a record for Ferrari in a single season, here at Suzuka this afternoon with Juan Montoya's Williams joining him on the front row of the grid. Ralf Schumacher made a late surge to line up third ahead of Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello.

Alesi quits Formula One   
Japan, Oct 10 (ZoomF1.com) - Jean Alesi has announced his retirement from Formula One. The veteran driver would race in his 201st grand prix at Suzuka this weekend which will be his last of his career.

Mika wins USGP   
US, Oct 1 (ZoomF1.com) - Mika Hakkinen won the United States Grand Prix here on Sunday, 10 years after he made his debut on the same soil when he drove for Lotus. The Finn overcame the very quick Ferraris, as well as being punished for violating pitlane rules during the warm-up session after having qualified in second place.

Schumi takes United States GP pole position   
US, Sept 30 (ZoomF1.com) ?Michael Schumacher won pole position at the United States Grand Prix here in Indianapolis on Saturday after a gruelling battle between the top three teams for the top spot. McLaren’s Mika Hakkinen had a strong showing at the qualifying session but failed to beat the German’s time.
